Popular TV show Call The Midwife has announced it will be making a change to when the next episode will aired, due to a scheduling clash.

Taking to social media to share the news, the show posted a photo of a clapperboard and wrote: 'Due to the live BAFTA Film Awards next Sunday, Call the Midwife Series 13 will continue in TWO WEEKS TIME - February 25th at 8pm on @bbcone xx'.

While fans of the show will have to wait a couple of weeks for the next episode, all the previous episodes are available to watch on iPlayer.

Meanwhile, Call The Midwife, which is now in its 13th season, was nominated for two TV Choice Awards in 2024. The annual ceremony took place on 12th February at The London Hilton on Park Lane, and the series was up for Best Family Drama, and Jenny Agutter was up for Best Actress, for the role of Sister Julienne, which she has played since 2012.

The TV show was victorious in winning the Best Family Drama, and the programme took to Instagram to celebrate writing: 'WE DID IT!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉'.

Call The Midwife is normally shown on BBC One on Sundays at 8pm, however the next episode will be on 25th February 2024.

While we are part of the way through series 13, the show has already been renewed for series 14 and 15, meaning Call the Midwife will be on our screens until 2026!

Last year, Dame Pippa Harris, Executive Producer said of the show's renewal: "I’m delighted that the BBC has commissioned another two series of Call the Midwife, taking us into the early 70s.

"15 series is a tremendous achievement and it’s a testament to the passion and dedication of our cast and crew, of whom I’m very proud. But the show wouldn’t be the phenomenal success it is without the formidable presence of our creator and writer Heidi Thomas. Her continued devotion to the characters and determination to tell the untold stories of women is truly inspiring. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us and our extremely loyal audience in the future!"
