Big Brother contestant Tomasz Wania has reportedly been rushed to hospital. The Polish national, who is a fan-favourite on the last series of Big Brother, was taken out of the house in Elstree to visit a medical facility in London.

In scenes that will not air on the Channel 5 show, Tomasz was apparently taken to seek medical help by a chaperone who ensured that Tomasz had minimal contact with the outside world - as is the rule for Big Brother contestants.

A Channel 5 spokesperson confirmed to the Mirror, "Tomasz left the Big Brother house briefly for a confidential medical appointment and returned shortly afterwards.

"At the time of leaving the house he was chaperoned by a member of production and had minimal contact with the outside world."

Although Channel 5 have decided not to release any further details about Tomasz's problem, Big Brother viewers noticed that the Polish-born cleaner was given an oxygen mask at the end of last month.

The machine was reportedly installed for Tomasz, who moved to the UK 10 years ago, to reduce his snoring, which was keeping other housemates awake at night.

Tomasz opened up recently about his gender, describing himself as 'gender fluid' and saying that "Anything goes! It really doesn’t bother me."

He's currently engaged to his partner of seven years, but has described their relationship as 'open'.

On his reasons for signing up to this series of Big Brother - which is the last ever - Tomasz said, "It’s an adventure of a lifetime, come on. You can only just get it once in your life, and if you don’t get it then you’re missing out. If you’re chosen, then you’re making memories for life."
