GALLERY: Kem Cetinay attempts his first Dancing On Ice lift

Competition is hotting up in the new series of Dancing On Ice as the final is just weeks away. And as Love Island star Kem Cetinay found himself in the skate-off last week, he's now decided to up the ante with a lift!
Photos released by ITV show the reality TV star with his skating partner Alex Murphy trying a number of lifts, practising both on and off the ice. Pretty impressive!
Considering Kem was very nervous about taking part in the series when he first started, he's done remarkably well. Talking exclusively to heat magazine last year Kem said "I’m worried about the lifts. All the other blokes are way over six foot, but when I pick up Alex, my professional skating partner, she’s still in front of my face. I’m only 5ft 10!"
He also revealed that he was taking his practising very seriously - even getting up in the middle of the night!
"My mum keeps hearing these thuds at about 4am, so comes into my room and I’m up and doing stretches and lunges in my sleep," he laughed.
"It’s so weird, but I’m constantly thinking about skating. I was really demoralised at first as the other celebs picked it up really fast. I still can’t even touch my toes.
"But I’ve become a bit obsessive about it. I had a month’s training before I met Alex and was supposed to be able to skate backwards and do turns, so when she first came to training she had her head in her hands when she saw I could hardly stand up!"
Along with Kem, Brooke Vincent, Jake Quickenden and Max Evans, are left in the competition which enters its last few weeks. We spoke to professional skaters Brandee and Matt who revealed who they think will win the series...
Dancing On Ice is just a few weeks away from the final, which promises to be a memorable show, including a performance from Olympic gold medalists Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.
Earlier this month Torvill and Dean confirmed they would be performing during the final show of the series, however there has been much speculation as to what song they will be skating to.
Many are hoping they will perform their infamous 'Boléro'. Competing at the Winter Olympics back in 1984, Torvill and Dean performed to the 'Boléro' for which they won a gold medal. They also received the highest score for figure skaters of all time for a single programme!
Dancing On Ice continues on ITV on Sunday evenings at 6pm.
