It's Father's Day on Sunday 18th June!
No matter what we do, our dads are always there for us. To celebrate Father's Day on the 18th June 2023, we look at all of the things you know if your dad is your best friend.
From them affectionately teasing us, to jumping in the car at midnight to pick us up, our dads are fantastic.
1) They’ll know when your partner is wrong for you, way before you do
Even though we might not see it at the time.
2) He’s always there to comfort us, even when we don’t say anything
It's like dads have a sixth sense.
3). He’ll do anything for you
No matter what time of day (or night) you might call.
4) He’s your favourite chauffeur
He's always happy to pick us up at the drop of a hat (and won't tell anyone how drunk we were!)
5) He’s always happy to see you
Whether it's been a day or a year, he'll always greet you with a huge smile.
6) You always make him proud
He'll always love us, no matter what.
7) He doesn’t ask questions
He knows that having him there is enough to make us feel content again when we're sad.
8) He offers the best advice
And never passes any judgement.
