When Zayn Malik announced he was leaving One Direction in 2015 our hearts broke into a million pieces, but after he released his EPIC debut solo album exactly one year later, we were totally loving everything about it.

And after Zayn dropped hits such as 'Pillowtalk', 'Like I Can' and 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' with the one and only Taylor Swift, we were left wanting more!

After months without any fresh Zayn music, it looks like the 25-year-old has hinted at some potential new tunes in a cryptic post to his Instagram.

Uploading a lengthy poem with his face in the background, Zayn captioned the photo with 'Morning Zoem'.

Writing things like, 'There is no meaning it's just aesthetics. Then to ask me, I'd say pathetic is the only one that fits and wins inside a world of acronyms. Twisted shapes of acrobats inside a mesh of flesh and bone is an underlying desperate tone to the world of real authentic the iPhone likes preventing this place of role play', Zayn signed the poem with his name and the date.

Fans were quick to comment on the photo asking what it was all about. One user wrote, 'WHAT IS THISS' sic, with another adding, 'Is that your new album?? 29-1-2018 . Is that mean your album done !! Woow you took along time, anyway congratulations' sic

As if this tease wasn't exciting enough, Zayn sent his fan base into meltdown even further when he uploaded a grainy video of himself with his vocals in the background.
