WATCH: Years & Years perform a stripped-back version of ‘Eyes Shut’

Years & Years have performed a stripped-back version of their album track ‘Eyes Shut’.
The band’s frontman Olly Alexander plays the piano while accompanied by a string section for an emotional rendition of the track.

Eyes Shut features on the band’s highly anticipated debut album ‘Communion’.
In a previous session with Vevo, Alexander claimed that being part of Years & Years gave him an ‘identity’.
He said: “I felt like such a loser but the music gives you an identity. And it made me feel like I could do something. It kinda gave me a relationship with other people like I’ve never had before.
“When your singing or playing to an audience – that’s a special relationship that you don’t get maybe in another part of your life.”
Years & Years kick off their sold-out UK tour in June, playing two shows at London’s Shepard’s Bush Arena, among other venues.
They will also support Kylie Minogue at her headline show at Hyde Park on 21st June.
Communion is set for release on 22nd June 2015.
