WATCH: Calvin Harris drops 'glitchy' new song featuring PARTYNEXTDOOR
Are You Ready?
Earlier this week superstar DJ Calvin Harris confirmed to fans that his new single is a collaboration with Canadian singer PARTYNEXTDOOR and he would be dropping later in the week.
Posting the cover art for the single, Calvin said, 'Thursday Nuh Ready Nuh Ready w/ @partynextdoor'. The track is co-written under their real names, Jahron Brathwaite and Adam Wiles and produced by Calvin Harris.
'Nuh Ready Nuh Ready' marks Calvin's first single for 2018 and he doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon. In a recent interview, he said,
“I’m going to release more and also I’m taking it one song at a time.
“The songs are all going to be based on dance music because I love it again…I basically took a year off dance music when I did all the Funk stuff on the last album 'Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1'.
To coincide with the release of the new collaboration, the DJ also dropped the video for his new single 'Nuh Ready Nuh Ready' and it's pretty unusual!
Calvin promised a ‘whole new experience’ and fans seem to be warming to the idea of it after he received mixed reviews on social media. One fan commented, 'Thank u for your music 🙏🏻❤️', another said, 'Absolutely an amazing track from the legend like you', but others weren't too ecstatic saying, 'We need the old Calvin back pleasssse!!!' sic
