Taylor Swift surprises fans with second single ‘Ready For It?’

Just a week after dropping her comeback single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ and the accompanying video that got everyone talking, Taylor Swift has dropped even more new music.
The singer, aged 27, dropped ‘Ready For It?’ over the weekend, she previewed the track in the States during the Alabama vs. Florida State college football game on Saturday night as well as teasing it on her socials.
In the second track of Taylor’s upcoming album ‘Reputation’, she sings ‘Knew he was a killer first time that I saw him. Wonder how many girls he loved and left haunted. But if he’s a ghost, then I can be a phantom. Holding him for ransom’. In the chorus, Tay-Tay sings ‘in the middle of the night, in my dreams you should see the things we do, baby. In the middle of the night, in my dreams I know I’m gonna be with you, So I take my time, are you ready for it?’
Since its release ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ or ‘LWYMMD’ to fans has smashed streaming and video records. The video has amassed seriously impressive 184 million views on YouTube and was played an estimated 39 million times in the 24 hours after its release. That’s 12 million more times than Adele’s ‘Hello’ which previously held the record for most online plays in 24 hours with 27 million plays.
And it looks like Taylor’s fans are loving ‘Ready For It?’ as well, as the Swifites took to Twitter to praise the track.
