It was a night of glitz and glamour at the annual American Music Awards (AMAs), held in the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and pop star Ciara hosted the show, kicking the night off with her new single, 'Melanin'.

Going into the night it was Post Malone who led the nominations in a massive seven categories, including Artist of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year. Both Ariana Grande and first-time nominee Billie Eilish were up for six nominations each.

Meanwhile P!NK, who has been nominated several times over the years, was up for two categories this time, Tour of the Year and Favourite Artist.

On the night, it was Taylor Swift who picked up six awards, meaning she broke a record previously held by Michael Jackson for the most AMA wins. Taylor's awards included Artist of the Decade and Artist of the Year, with the pop star also performing an impressive medley of some of her biggest songs from the last ten years.

The medley included, 'The Man,' 'Love Story,' 'I Knew You Were Trouble,' 'Blank Space,' 'Shake It Off,' where she was joined by Halsey and Camila Cabello, and 'Lover.'
