Every week this month we've been joined by some of the biggest names around who have done some amazing exclusive performances for us. We started off with Ella Henderson, who covered Wham!'s classic festive throwback, 'Last Christmas', as well as her recent 'Dream On Me'.

Next, we were joined by Jess Glynne performing her new Christmas song, 'This Christmas' originally released by Donny Hathaway. Jess followed up her new song with 'Thursday' which was penned by Ed Sheeran along with Jess and Steve Mac.

It was then time for the fantastic Sam Smith to join us on MFR. Continuing with the Christmas spirit, Sam performed 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas' and 'Stay With Me' and you can watch their full performance below.

Wow, what a performance!

Sam admitted that they don't "love Christmas songs", however they gave an amazing performance of 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'. Revealing it's possibly the first time ever that they've performed this song, Sam explained, "My first memory of it was Judy Garland singing this in Meet Me in St Louis, which is one of the most beautiful scenes, and I like sad Christmas songs.

"I know I'm a bit depressing, but this for me is melancholy and captures the mood, that lonely mood at Christmas that I know some of us feel."
