She said it was surreal
Last updated 6th Feb 2019
'Beautiful Trauma' pop star P!NK has been awarded a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame and described the experience as 'surreal' to the gathered crowd. P!NK, who has had many hits, including her most recent song, 'A Million Dreams', attended the ceremony with her husband Carey Hart, and her two children Willow Sage and Jameson Moon.
The GRAMMY award-winning pop star took the opportunity to reflect on her long successful career and the obstacles she has had to overcome, telling her fans, "This is surreal. It has been a trip lately thinking back over the course of this career I’ve somehow managed to have. I signed my first record deal 23 years ago."
P!NK went on to say, "I have achieved exactly what I wanted to achieve. Because I always knew what my strong points were. I don’t sell sex, I don’t sell perfume, I’m not the prettiest, I’m not the best. I’m f---ing hard-looking and I have enough talent and I work on my f---ing craft and I put my head down and I win."

The singer was then joined by Ellen DeGeneres at the ceremony who started her speech by joking, "When I was asked to speak about pink, I was very excited because it's one of my favourite colours. So many great things are pink, flamingos, pigs, the inside part of bunny ears..."
However, the TV host then went on to list the huge accomplishments that P!NK has achieved throughout her career, including winning three GRAMMYs, selling nearly 50 million albums and even doing the theme song of Ellen's show.
The star is believed to be near Jackie Chan and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's stars, in front of the Dolby Theater.
