MTV EMAs 2021: The winners revealed

Rapper Saweetie hosted this year’s event

The MTV EMAs brought together the world’s biggest stars for an awards ceremony to remember in Budapest on Sunday 14th November.

Hosted by rapper Saweetie (who had NINE outfit changes during the night), the celebration was made even sweeter by the news that five young LGBTQ+ activists would receive the MTV EMA Generation Change Award with Amir Ashour, Matthew Blaise, Sage Dolan-Sandrino, Erika Hilton, and Viktória Radványi all taking home a prestigious gong.

Justin Bieber got the most nominations, but unfortunately didn’t go home with any, with K-Pop group BTS winning four awards including best pop and best group.

Ed Sheeran, Saweetie, Kim Petras, Joel Corry, Imagine Dragons and Yungblud all performed to the huge crowd.
