The BRIT Awards 2023: Mo Gilligan returns to host
He did a great job last year!
The BRIT Awards are just around the corner, and the UK’s biggest night of music is once again going to be hosted by comedian Mo Gilligan!
After taking over from Jack Whitehall last year, bosses announced on Tuesday 10th January that Mo will return for 2023, for the ceremony which takes place on Saturday 11th February.
Mo said of the gig: “Hosting the BRITs last year was one of the most phenomenal moments of my life. I’ve been so honoured to get to know the incredible team behind the biggest night in music and so proud to bring our amazing audiences even closer to their favourite artists. I promise you, we’re going to go even bigger this year… Let's go!”
2023 BRIT Awards Chair and Managing Director and President of Promotions at Atlantic Records (part of Warner Music UK) Damian Christian added: “Making sure we got Mo back to host this year’s awards was a huge priority for us. He is one of the biggest names in UK entertainment right now and he did an amazing job hosting his first BRITs last year. We’re looking forward to working with him and watching as he brings his unique humour and style to our stage and screens once again.”

Although girl band FLO have already been announced as winners of the prestigious Rising Star Award, the rest of the nominations will be revealed during a live stream on Thursday 12th January.
The nominations show will be hosted by Vick Hope and Jack Saunders, as the pair welcome the likes of Tom Daley, Yung Filly, Jill Scott and Gogglebox stars Joe and George Baggs.
The main BRIT Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday 11th February.
