Max George makes return to music with new song ‘Barcelona'

Max George has made a fantastic comeback to music with his new single 'Barcelona'. Max, who was formerly part of boy group The Wanted, has released his first solo single named after the Spanish city, and it is already very popular with his fans.
After posting a teaser for the music video on Twitter, Max's fans were keen to let the singer know how much they loved his new tune.
Some fans called it a song 'perfect for summer', whilst another said it was 'Perfect!'.
The song 'Barcelona' is about a guy meeting a girl in the Spanish city - however, he doesn't want her to leave and return to California - where she's from. In the music video, Laura Crane from Love Island plays the role of Max's girlfriend. As well as showing off her surfing skills, the 'couple' also get close in the video, spending time on the beach together, ultimately ending with a kiss.

Max has made no secret of Laura starring in his music video and soon after the surfer entered the Love Island villa, Max took to Instagram to post a photo of the pair on the shoot of the video saying, 'Can’t wait to see my #Barcelona girl @lauraloucrane smash it on @loveisland. She’s an absolute beaut inside and out x #LoveIsland'. sic
He even confirms Laura's involvement in his music video by replying to a fan who asked, 'Is that the new girl Laura in love island in your music video??'. sic

As part of The Wanted, Max had three top 10 albums and two Number 1 singles including, 'All Time Low' in 2010 and 'Glad You Came' in 2011. The band then started a hiatus in 2014. Since the band's hiatus started, Max joined the cast of Glee in the role of Clint, and later joined the cast of Bear Grylls' TV survival series titled Bear Grylls: Mission Survive.
