Former The Wanted singer Max George may have only released his music video for his debut solo single 'Barcelona' two weeks ago, but it's already had nearly half a million views on YouTube. Although the song is, of course, fantastic, there's another reason that the video could have had such a huge draw - it starred a Love Island cast member!

Love Island star Laura Crane was a late addition to the show, entering the villa as one of the new members around three weeks before the end of the show - but she certainly made her mark, and came out of the villa with a beau, Jack Fowler.

But before all of that, she was the star of the show in the 'Barcelona' music video, playing Max's American love interest who he's desperate to see more of, but sadly goes back home to California.

Max has now opened up in an interview with Christine Lampard on Lorraine this morning about how he tracked Laura down - and how he knew she was the perfect fit for his video.

He said, "When we were coming up with the concept of the video, I wanted a girl in it that had something about her, she could do something really cool. Surfing, I saw a video of her and was like, ‘Laura’s perfect’.

"She’s the star of the video, I didn’t have to do anything. She just literally took over and did it for me. She was great."

Series One: Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison

The only surviving couple from Love Island series one is Cally Jane Beech and Luis Morrison.

After finding love on the show, Cally and Luis announced they were expecting their first child together and later welcomed their daughter Vienna Morrison-Beech.

He even admitted that he'd gotten hooked on the show after meeting her, saying, "It was only about two weeks ago I got a text saying Laura’s going on Love Island tonight. I started tuning in after that – now I get why everyone loves it! She was lovely."
