LISTEN AGAIN: Georgia talks grammar with Callum Gallacher
Somebody call the grammar police
Grammar is important, we all know that. But it's also really difficult, so we can forgive people for the odd mistake here and there.
But can we forgive singer-songwriter Georgia for her new track About Work The Dancefloor which makes the grammar police wince every time they hear it?
People have actually got in contact with me to say 'you do realise that this doesn't make sense.'
Callum Gallacher from the Evening Show pointed out that the title sounds like someone slurring their way through a song request at a DJ booth, to which Georgia explained that she just likes to be a bit "out there" with here grammar, and would rather go with what fits with the rhythm of the song. Unfortunately, not many people agree with her choice:
"People have actually got in contact with me" she claimed "they're like 'you do realise that this doesn't make sense.'"
She insists that it doesn't matter, and we should all just go with it.
And, personally, we couldn't agree more!
(Definitely just saying that so no one corrects our grammar.)
