Liam Payne congratulates Harry Styles following debut single release

One Direction fans were sent into meltdown this morning when Harry Styles dropped his debut solo track 'Sign Of The Times' and now to excite them even further, Harry's former bandmate Liam Payne has publicly congratulated him.

Liam took to Twitter to message his mate and expressed how 'proud' he was of the 23-year-old. Tagging Harry in the message, Liam wrote, '@Harry_Styles proud of you H. Glad you're getting to do your own thing 🎶.'

Fans of the pair immediately spotted the message and expressed their love for their bromance.

Liam wasn't the only One Direction member to message Harry after the new track landed. Niall Horan was also quick to praise his former bandmate when he wrote 'Love it H' on Harry's tweet.

The slow track has a different feel to Harry's previous work with One Direction and showcases his amazing vocals alongside a piano.

The 5 minute 41 seconds track starts slow with Harry singing, “Just stop your crying, it’s a sign of the times. Welcome to the final show, hope you’re wearing your best clothes."
