The ultimate festive collab

Author: Hannah MellinPublished 17th Dec 2021

YouTube stars LadBaby Christmas collaboration with Ed Sheeran and Elton John is officially OUT NOW (Friday 17th December).

Ed and Elton, who recently released their Christmas single “Merry Christmas”, join Mark and Roxanne Hoyle for a re-worked version of the single, titled “Sausage Rolls For Everyone” and they both star in the video.

The collaboration is the perfect race to the top of the charts as LadBaby's sausage roll-themed songs have held the festive number one spot for the last three years and Ed and Elton's festive single is already in the running to be 2021's Christmas number one.

LadBaby announced the news all over social media on 10th December 2021, revealing that the Christmas tune would be out on Friday 17th December.

They said: ‘The brand new LadBaby Christmas song ‘Sausage Rolls for Everyone’ featuring @edsheeran and @eltonofficial is available for PRE-ORDER NOW!!!! 100% of profits from the song will go towards the work of the @TrussellTrust#SausageRollsForEveryone #LadBaby’

Speaking about the unexpected mash-up, Mark told The Mirror: "The idea that by linking up with us, Ed and Elton might knock themselves off the top spot, is what is so surprising and why no one saw it coming - a sausage roll parody of their own song that takes it to a whole new festive level!"

The collaboration came about after Ed messaged his congratulations to Ladbaby last year and encouraged him to keep up the work.

Mark, 34, continues: "In the summer Roxanne and I were talking to the charity about the problems caused by covid for food banks and how this Christmas was going to be a mess.

"Just last week we visited one that was already giving out 200 parcels a day ahead of Christmas. I messaged Ed and said ‘Do you want to try and make a bit of history together, and try and raise £1 million for The Trussell Trust?’"

Ed replied, and the rest is history!

Ladbaby's 'Sausage Rolls For Everyone' supported by and featuring Ed Sheeran and Sir Elton John is OUT NOW!
