Justin Timberlake to be executive music producer for new animated film Trolls
Justin will also write and perform new music.
Justin Timberlake will be heavily involved with the new animated film Trolls according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Late last year he was announced as the voice of Branch, one of the iconic Trolls featured in the film. However it is now understood that his involvement with the film will also be 'behind the scenes', with him taking on the role of executive music producer, writing and performing original music.
DreamWorks Animation’s co-presidents of feature animation Bonnie Arnold and Mireille Soria told The Hollywood Reporter, “Justin is an amazingly versatile artist and producer whose unprecedented creative talents provide a unique voice and sound for our movie."
Continuing, "Trolls is a comedy with fantastic music at its core and we can’t think of a more perfect artist to elevate this soundtrack to incredible heights."
Whilst Justin Timberlake is a multi-award winning singer and producer he hasn't released any music since his fourth studio album, 'The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2' which was released in 2013.
