Justin Bieber's 'Friends' has just dropped and we're playing it today
It's here!
What a week it has been for Justin Bieber fans, it all started on Sunday night when he started to tease some new music with a cryptic tweet which read, 'Can we still be friends'.
This was quickly retweeted by 'Sorry' producer BloodPop confirming his involvement and a release date.
On Tuesday evening Justin then flooded Instagram with the new artwork for his song 'Friends' giving his fans a revised release date as 'Thursday noon', 5pm UK time.
Now, finally the song has dropped and Justin has posted just 20 seconds on social media to tease fans. The short lyric video skips through photos of friends having fun whilst the music is reminiscent of his 2015 hit 'Sorry' which was also with BloodPop.
'Friends' is Justin's first single as a lead artist since 'Company' last year and his fourth this year having collaborated with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee on 'Despacito', DJ Khaled on 'I'm The One' and David Guetta on '2U'.
Justin's first single this year was a remix of the Spanish language song 'Despacito', it immediately became a hit around the world, however Justin struggled to remember his Spanish lyrics and in May was caught on camera filling the gaps with random words, even asking his audience if they know the words!
You can watch the video below, let's hope he can remember the words this time!
You can hear 'Friends' on MFR,** **online and on DAB in selected areas.
