Gerry Cinnamon is currently in the studio working on his third album, which is due for release later this year. Ahead of the new music, fans will also be able to relive last summer's epic shows at Glasgow's Hampden Park thanks to a new live album.

The 38-year-old singer-songwriter has now released a double album which celebrates the historic gigs that took place in Gerry's hometown on 16th and 17th July last year. Titled 'Live At Hampden Park', the live album includes songs such as 'Dark Days', 'Sun Queen', Ghost', 'Where We're Going' and the platinum-certified singles 'Sometimes' and 'Belter.'

Ahead of the album, Gerry released the tracks 'Canter', 'Kampire Vampire' and 'Diamonds In The Mud'. The official live video for 'Diamonds In The Mud' has also now been released.

The live album also features previously unreleased track 'Sacred', a tribute to Gerry's hero Billy Connolly with his own rendition of 'I Wish I Was In Glasgow' and fan favourite 'Discoland.'

Speaking about the album, Gerry previously said: "Live album out now. Been meaning to do it forever. Said before, the crowd are part of the band and the tunes are only complete when you're all chanting. Had to be done for Hampden."

Gerry made history with his Hampden Park shows, becoming both the first independent act and first Scot to sell out multiple nights at the national stadium. Gerry's third album will follow on from his debut 'Erratic Cinematic', which has since gone platinum, and second album 'The Bonny', which went to Number 1.
