How to claim a refund against a fraudulent transaction for Ed Sheeran's tour
He has sold over 1 million tickets for his latest tour
Last updated 17th Jul 2017
Following the announcement of Ed Sheeran's '2018 UK stadium tour' last month, in excess of 1 million tickets have been sold, however sadly some have fallen into the wrong hands.
According to the singer's promoters 90% of tickets have been delivered directly to fans, however, ticket resale website Viagogo have ignored the promoters’ requests not to trade or resell tickets. An increasing number of customers are realising they have been duped by Viagogo’s false advertising and have unfortunately become victims of massive hidden overcharging for tickets.
Ed's promoters are urging fans who are concerned they might be affected by Viagogo and other resale websites to visit the FanFair Alliance website for more information.
As a result of monitoring the sales transactions closely with the National Trading Standards Cyber Crime team, 10,000 tickets have been cancelled due to multiple purchases which contravene the terms and conditions for the sale of the Ed Sheeran tickets.
Fans are being reminded that the only official resale website for Ed Sheeran is Twickets.co.uk
Remember to gain entry to Ed Sheeran's concert fans must bring the following to avoid disappointment:
i) The tickets
ii) The booking confirmation
iii) The credit card used for the purchase and shown on the booking confirmation
iv) A valid photo ID matching the customer name on the booking confirmation
Last week Ed announced four new dates for his UK tour next year and tickets are available to buy through Aloud.com
