Finally, the brand new song from David Guetta, Anne-Marie and Clean Bandit, called 'Cry Baby' has dropped. Anne-Marie first started teasing the song as she performed it live while on her 'Unhealthy Club (Summer Run) Tour', later confirming its name as 'Cry Baby' and the release date of 9th August.

Now that the song has arrived, Clean Bandit have shared the music video on their YouTube account. The video sees the band, along with Anne-Marie on the 'Cry Baby Express' train, driven by Clean Bandit members Jack and Luke Patterson, while Grace Chatto serves tea, and plays the cello on the top of the train!

How did the collab happen?

Taking to Instagram to reveal how the collab came about, David Guetta revealed: "So guys, I'm really excited, I've been a fan with 'Rather Be' and 'Symphony', and I love that you're so musical, as much as I love crazy sounds, I really love even more crazy music, so it was really the case always with you, so I'm so happy we could make this record finally together.

"The way it happened is, we have Anne-Marie as a common friend and you know that she sent me this song, and I was like what is this? This is fire, so the music wins over anything and your music has always been so beautiful, so I'm super happy we can make this record together finally."

Clean Bandit's Jack Patterson then responded saying: "We so honoured to work with you, it's fantastic. We're huge fans, so yeah, this is a dream come true!"

David then continued: "And tonight we're going to party together!"

What does the song sound like?

Now that the song has been released you can hear it on MFR, however before its release, new mum Anne-Marie gave fans a chance to hear her new song when she performed it on tour.

Sharing a clip of the new song on Instagram, the caption simply had an eyes emoji: '👀', with words over the video reading: 'anne marie teased a new song at her first summer show tonight 👀'. (sic)

At the time of Anne-Marie's original post, Clean Bandit commented with '👀', causing several people to suggest there might be a collab on the horizon.

The singer who welcomed a baby girl called Seven just six months ago, confirmed in July that the song is a collaboration with Clean Bandit and David Guetta.

She revealed the news on Instagram writing: 'CRY BABY @cleanbandit @annemarie @davidguetta 💧'.

This song is the third collaboration with French DJ David Guetta, and the also the third with Clean Bandit, following their hit 'Rockabye' and their 2018 song 'Should've Known Better'.

Just a few months ago, Clean Bandit started to tease new music, with the band writing on Instagram: 'New songs ready now. I can happily say the clean bandit drought is over 😋'.
