The incredible TRNSMT Festival returned for 2022, with some huge shows taking place across 8th, 9th and 10th July. The three-day festival was certainly a big one with tens of thousands of people heading to Glasgow Green and a fantastic line-up.

Following on from the amazing weekend, we've put together a list of everything there is to know about TRNSMT 2022, including how to get to Glasgow Green, the lineup, and banned items.

Who performed at TRNSMT 2022?

The amazing line-up included Sam Fender, Tom Grennan, Mimi Webb, Sigala, and plenty of Scottish artists like Lewis Capaldi, Paolo Nutini, Callum Beattie, Saint Phnx and The Snuts.

Years & Years pulled out before their performance due to illness and Wet Leg were moved to the main stage instead on Saturday.

When is TRNSMT 2023?

Following the massive 2022 festival, event organisers have announced dates for TRNSMT Festival 2023. The event will take place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th July 2023.

How can I get tickets to TRNSMT?

Tickets for TRNSMT 2023 will go on sale on Friday 15th July, with an exclusive pre-sale also available from Wednesday 13th July.

What was TRNSMT 2022?

TRNSMT 2022 took place on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July, from 12pm to 11pm.

Where is TRNSMT Festival?

The huge festival held in Glasgow Green in the city centre.

How do I get to TRNSMT?

TRNSMT is located at Glasgow Green, and there are lots of transport links near by, however there is no parking at the venue. There are three entrances at Glasgow Green, the West Entrance on Saltmarket, the East Entrance off Templeton Street, and the VIP Entrance on Templeton Street.

There are plenty of bus links that will take you into the city centre, with Buchanan Bus Station around a 20-minute walk away from Glasgow Green.

If you are travelling by rail, Argyle Street Station is only a 10-minute walk away, while St Enoch Underground Station and Bridge Street Underground Stations are both less than a 15-minute walk away.

When taking the train, make sure you check your journey on ScotRail's website ahead of time.

Was there food and drink at TRNSMT?

You were not allowed to bring any food or drink into the venue but there were plenty of food and drink vendors on-site which catered to a whole host of dietary requirements including vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free.

You could bring a 500ml empty disposable plastic water bottle into TRNSMT with you, which could be filled at various drinking water points around the arena.

What was the weather like at TRNSMT?

We were lucky with the weather and had glorious sunshine on Saturday and Sunday!

Is there an age limit at TRNSMT?

You must be over 12-years-old to attend TRNSMT. Anyone under 16-years-old must be accompanied by an adult over 21-years-old.

What items are banned at TRNSMT?

Event organisers ask that you only bring in a bag if it is essential, and you are not allowed to have a bag larger than an A3 sheet of paper (30cm x 42cm).

What should be brought to TRNSMT?

TRNSMT organisers shared their handy guide for people going to the festival for the first time, and shared a checklist of what to bring and some tips for once you are at TRNSMT.

In the lead-up to the weekend, TRNSMT shared some helpful tips, including what to wear! Bucket hats were a very popular choice!
