Lady Gaga is one of the busiest people in the industry right now. Not only has she been filming for the Joker sequel, Folie à Deux, heading up her cosmetics brand Haus Labs and working on her Born This Way Foundation - but she's now produced, directed and created a concert special film of her 2022 tour to support her album 'The Chromatica Ball'.

Airing on Saturday 25th May, the concert film is a recording of Gaga's live show at the iconic Los Angeles Dodger Stadium in September 2022, where she performed to 52,000 people.

Sharing the news to Instagram, Lady Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - posted a trailer to the concert film, alongside a lengthy caption: 'I’m so excited that we can finally share The Chromatica Ball film with the world. This film chronicles a time of immense creativity…the fashion, the dance, the music.

'Revisiting the tour leaves me speechless the way we had each other—you all showed up for music and art in a big way, and with a level of excitement and freedom that I will never forget. Stadium after stadium. Sold out crowds. The deafening singalongs.

'I love you monsters more than I can say. See yourself in every vocal, every fabric choice, the choreography, every image… Here’s the truth—no matter where life or my career has taken me, my time with you always is a path back to a very powerful part of myself.'

She later posted a couple of snaps of herself in the editing room alongside the caption: 'I spent countless hours in the editing room bringing my vision for this film to life. It is my gift to you - directed, produced and created by me, alongside some of the most talented, creative people in the world 🖤.'

Nina Rosenstein, a HBO executive, told Variety: "Lady Gaga is a complete powerhouse. She’s a once-in-a-lifetime artist who never holds back, and ‘Gaga Chromatica Ball’ puts her endless list of talents on full display. We’re thrilled to partner with her once again for this breathtaking concert special."

After it was postponed in 2020, Lady Gaga kicked off her highly-anticipated 'The Chromatica Ball' summer stadium tour on Sunday 17th July, with incredible photos documenting the night. As well as playing shows across Europe, the 'Sour Candy' singer also brought the tour to London for two dates.

The tour was Lady Gaga's first in four years and was in support of her sixth studio album 'Chromatica', released in May 2020. Not only was the album a hit with fans, but the track 'Rain on Me' with Ariana Grande also went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The first night of 'The Chromatica Ball' tour was a sold-out show in Düsseldorf, Germany at Merkur Spiel- Arena, and it looked amazing! Sunday 17th July saw the first public live performance of the album, including the tracks 'Stupid Love' and 'Alice'.

She also thrilled fans with some of her classic tracks, including smash hits like 'Bad Romance' and 'Poker Face', songs from A Star Is Born like 'Shallow' and 'Always Remember Us This Way', as well as a performance of 'Monster' for the first time in eight years.
