Wonka is due to be released on 15th December and is a prequel to the original 1971 film adaptation Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, which was created from Roald Dahl's 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The 2023 movie is set to detail the years before Wonka opened his world-renowned chocolate factory, exploring a young Mr Wonka's journey to becoming an illustrious candymaker.

Although Wonka was first spoken about way back in 2016, production on the movie didn't begin until 2021, with 27-year-old Timothée spotted at various filming locations across the UK.

Wonka is due out in cinemas on 15th December 2023.
