Disney have dropped a brand new trailer for the upcoming Maleficent sequel, entitled Mistress Of Evil - and it's safe to say it looks pretty darn scary! The film, which is a follow-up to the 2014 live-action reimagined tale of Sleeping Beauty, sees Angelina Jolie return as the horned villain with Elle Fanning also reprising her role as Aurora.

Although the first trailer was released back in May, we now get to see a little more of Michelle Pfeiffer's character, Queen Ingrith - and it looks as though she may have some hidden agenda.

Reminding fans that the film will be released in cinemas on 18th October 2019, the two-minute trailer also teases that there are more of Maleficent's kind in the kingdom.

Fans couldn't be more excited for the film, with many taking to the Twitter comments to share their thoughts. One wrote, 'The Wings are BACK, baby!' as another added, 'That iconic "Well Well" I love it! 😍,' and one other added, 'I am ready for this!'

This comes after the first trailer was released in May, giving fans their first glimpse of Angelina back in the suit and wings.

The first film ended with Aurora being crowned queen of the two kingdoms after the dramatic events saw her and Maleficent grow a mother/daughter bond, which is a definite stray away from the original 1959 animated film.

But with everything seemingly wrapped up somewhat happily at the end of the movie, what will happen in the second film? Well, according to the trailer, Maleficent will come to blows with the new queen, played by Michelle Pfeiffer.

Although Michelle's character, Queen Ingrith, seems to be telling the story of Sleeping Beauty, indicating that this film takes place a long time after the first film, Aurora is definitely present in this film.
