Excitement is brewing ahead of the release of the fifth and final Indiana Jones film. Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny which stars Harrison Ford, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, saw the cast take to the red carpet in Hollywood for the film's premiere. It was there an emotional reunion between Harrison Ford and his former co-star Ke Huy Quan took place.

Harrison and Ke Huy starred alongside each other 40 years ago when they both appeared in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom in 1984. While Harrison reprised his role as Indy, 11-year-old Ke Huy starred as Short Round, a young taxi driver in Shanghai.

Although Ke Huy doesn't star in the latest Indiana Jones film, he turned out in support of his former co-star, sneaking up behind Harrison on the red carpet as he gave an interview, and jumping up and down.

The moment was captured on video and shared on Disney's TikTok, captioning it: 'Indy and Short Round reunite at the Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny red carpet. 🫶'.

Noticing Ke Huy, Harrison said: "You’re all grown up" to the actor who is now 51-years-old, as the two gave each other a hug.

Ke Huy also took to his own Instagram page to share some photos of the event and tell his fans how his former co-star was a hero to him.

'Indy will always be a hero to Short Round and Harrison Ford will always be a hero to me❣️', he wrote.

'I wish he could continue in this role forever, but I was happy to be there last night to see him crack that whip one more time. Dial of Destiny is SO GOOD!!! Please go see it comes June 30th!'

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the fifth and final film to be released in the series, which started way back in 1981 with release of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
