If you've been hiding under a rock or dodging social media, you might not have heard that Disney are releasing a live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, which will feature Halle Bailey as the main character.

But the film company are keeping VERY quiet on who they have cast for the film, with rumours swirling that Melissa McCarthy is set to play villainess Ursula.

And fans are now calling for Gordon Ramsey to play Prince Eric's angry, shouting chef Louis, who they think resembles Gordon's personality.

Taking to Twitter, fans of Disney suggested Gordon is the only man for the job, with one excitedly writing, 'PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN I WON'T COMPLAIN ABOUT ANYTHING EVER AGAIN I SWEAR JUST PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN', whilst another tweeted, 'Ok so, I think Gordon should play the angry chef. He would be really good!'.

Another added, 'If he doesn't wedge Sebastian between two pieces of a bread and make him call himself an idiot sandwich, I'm calling the police'.

Posting the photo to his 1.35 million followers, he captioned the photo, 'Ariel’s Dad!!!! #ArielsGotTerry #AmericasGotTerry'.
