WATCH: David Beckham catches stray ball at Wimbledon!
He still has serious ball skills
David Beckham proved he hasn’t lost any of his ball skills when he caught a stray tennis ball in style at Wimbledon last night.
Sitting in centre court with his mum Sandra, Becks was watching Jamie Murray and John Peers in action in the men’s doubles when a rogue ball ricocheted into the VIP area.
Cool as you like, a grinning Becks effortlessly caught the ball one handed before throwing it back into court. As you can imagine it was met with a deafening response from the thousands in the crowd.
Joking about the catch, the official Wimbledon Twitter account shared the above photo along with the caption “Can we have our ball back please…?”
It was the second day on the bounce that David attended Wimbledon after his father-son bonding session with Romeo on Wednesday.
Last night, David took to Instagram to tell his millions of followers: “Great Day with my mum at Wimbledon.
Also proving himself to be a bit of a good luck omen, Jamie Murray and John Peers went on to beat Jonathan Erlich and Philipp Petzschner 4-6 6-3 6-4 6-2 to reach their first Grand Slam men's doubles final.
Jamie was cheered on by older brother Andy and mum Judy.
