Tristan Thompson issues public apology to Khloé Kardashian after paternity test
'Khloe, you don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation my actions have caused you'
It safe to say there's always some sort of drama surrounding on/off couple Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson (who can forget about THAT Jordyn Woods debacle back in 2019), which led to the pair splitting.
However, Khloé seemingly chose to forgive Tristan, and the pair have been giving their relationship another go, with engagement rumours even flying around in 2021 for True Thompson's mum and dad.
Well, that was until December 2021 hit, when a lady called Maralee Nichols gave birth and claimed Tristan was the father...
Fast forward to 4th January 2022 and Tristan has seemingly admitted his wrong doing, sending out a public apology to Khloé after receiving a paternity test to prove he is the father of Maralee's baby.
Taking to his Instagram Story, the NBA basketball player wrote: ‘Today, paternity test results revealed that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.
‘I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologise to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.’
30-year-old Tristan later apologised directly to Khloe, saying: ‘Khloe, you don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation my actions have caused you.
‘You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.
‘I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.’
Khloé is yet to publicly respond to the apology and the latest drama surrounding Tristan, but he was notably absent from the Kardashian/Jenner Christmas photos which landed on Instagram last week.
Mum-of-one Khloé dazzled in stunning dress, as she enjoyed Christmas alongside her mum Kris Jenner, and her sisters, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner.
Khloé's youngest sister Kylie Jenner was also absent from the snap, with many fans thinking she's given birth to her second child.
