TOWIE star Megan McKenna forced to leave NTAs after being rushed to hospital
She had to make an emergency exit
It was the biggest event in the TV calendar last night, as all the celebrities hit the red carpet at London’s O2 arena for the National Television Awards.
But for TOWIE star Megan McKenna, the night ended unexpectedly early as she was forced to make an emergency exit.
Megan had reportedly been hooked up to a drip in the run up to the awards and was taken ill again during the event.
It's been reported that she had a temperature of 48.9 degrees last week and was rushed to hospital after no one knew what was wrong with her. It later emerged that she was diagnosed with infectious colitis and had to be hooked up to a drip.
Despite the shock illness, Megan turned up to the awards looking amazing and was apparently ‘devastated’ when she had to leave early.
She was rushed to hospital on the night, but she is now believed to be recovering at home.
Megan has yet to update her fans on social media, with the last post showing her ready to go to the awards show with her 'bestie' Amber Turner.
Hope you make a speedy recovery Megan!
