The Wanted singer Tom Parker has become a dad for the second time, after his wife Kelsey gave birth to the couple's second child last week, according to Tom's former band mate Max George.

Max, who is taking part in the 2020 series of Strictly Come Dancing, appeared on today's (Tuesday 27th October) episode of Lorraine, where he was asked how his good friend is coping after being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour at the age of 32.

Revealing he'd spoken with Tom yesterday, Max confirmed Kelsey had given birth to the couple's second child, saying, “I spoke to him yesterday, he’s doing good, he’s doing great.

"Kelsey gave birth to their second child last week. He’s a fighter Tom, Tom will be alright. If he’s watching by the way, I love you all.”

Tom first announced the news of his diagnosis at the beginning of October, bravely opening up to his fans on Instagram.

He wrote, 'Hey guys, you know that we’ve both been quiet on social media for a few weeks and it’s time to tell you why. There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment. We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way.

'We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options. It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx'. (sic)

Tom is being treated at At King’s College Hospital in London and also opened up about the awful moment he was told the news by doctors to OK! Magazine, revealing the tumour is terminal.

He said, "Kelsey couldn’t come in because of Covid. They pulled the curtain around my bed and said, 'It’s a brain tumour.' All I could think was, 'F-----g hell!' I was in shock. It’s stage four glioblastoma and they’ve said its terminal. It was a lot to deal with by myself. I still haven’t processed it."

After announcing their engagement in March 2016, Tom and Kelsey went on to get married in Ridge Farm in Surrey in the Summer of 2018, surrounded by their close friends and family for their special day.

The happy couple then welcomed their first child into the world, a baby girl called Aurelia Rose in 2019,

Tom and Kelsey are yet to publicly confirm the birth of their second child, but we are sending the Parker family all of our love at this time. ❤️
