The tragic accident happened when Tess arrived home to her home in Buckinghamshire in her Range Rover.

Tess was blissfully unaware that the pet pooch had escaped the house after builders left the door open, and was unable to react quick enough when the dog ran under her front wheels.

The tragic accident happened last month, days before the family were set to go on holiday to the Maldives for Tess' 50th birthday party.

But rather than postpone the trip, Tess and her husband Vernon Kay decided to go ahead with the trip in a bid to cheer up their devastated daughters, 14-year-old Phoebe and nine-year-old Amber.

The couple are also parents to adorable Chihuahua Blue, who was thankfully safe.

We're so sorry for your loss, Tess!
