Stacey Dooley found herself whipped up in a storm of drama earlier this month, when her ex-boyfriend Sam Tucknott claimed he'd 'uncovered' her romance with professional dancer Kevin Clifton, admitting he found a text reading 'I love you' on Stacey's phone.

After Stacey broke her silence on Twitter, without actually confirming or denying the rumours that she's dating Kevin, the 32-year-old has now posted a cosy snap alongside Kevin to her Instagram Story.

Despite the upload, Stacey didn't give away any more details, and the pair continue to stay cryptic about their apparent romance.

However, Kevin, who announced his split from his wife Karen in 2018, recently opened up about struggling in the limelight, where he thanked Stacey following his recent 'struggles'. He said, “In the last couple of years I’ve seen massive upheaval in my personal life and it hasn’t always been easy.

“There have been a lot of things thrown at me. At times I’ve struggled. And the times I’ve struggled and I was in a bit of a rut I didn’t know what to do."

He then added, “Thanks to Miss Stacey Dooley, I can finally say I’m the Strictly champion after six years of trying. It’s a miracle.”

After Stacey announced her split from her boyfriend Sam in March, things took a sour turn when Sam accused Strictly Come Dancing of ending their three-year romance.

He said, “The blame is with Kevin. He’s an absolute rat. I was getting my stuff to leave. Stacey was in the loo. Her phone went and it was Kevin Clifton — ‘I love you’ with a red love heart."
