Whilst there have been plenty of rumours around who will star in this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing, including last year's I'm a Celebrity winner Harry Redknapp, it has now been confirmed that Rylan Clark-Neal will be joining the team as a presenter of the spin-off show, It Takes Two.

Rylan took to Twitter to tell his fans, 'So excited to finally say i’m thrilled to be joining Team @bbcstrictly and can’t wait to get my big old teeth stuck into hosting #ItTakesTwo alongside the gorgeous @ZoeTheBall . Thanks for trusting me with another one of your babies! Can’t wait to get going! #DaDaDaDaDaDaDaaaaaa'. sic

Fans of the TV presenter were quick to congratulate Rylan tweeting, 'This is amazing news ❤️', 'Omg yess!!! You’ll be perfect for that job! I can’t wait for you to start!! congratulations 👏🏼💕✨ xxx', with another saying, 'THIS IS THE BEST NEWS TO WAKE UP TOO💕✨✨✨ Dreams really do glitter. I’m so so proud of you and so excited for this. So happy for you. No one deserves this more. Love you lots ✌🏼'.

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant also retweeted Strictly Come Dancing's official account, who posted the exciting news saying, 'Joining Zoe Ball as the co-host of It Takes Two is Rylan! We can’t wait to welcome him to the #Strictly family when the show returns on @BBCTwo in the autumn.'

Rylan will join Zoë Ball, who has been presenting the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off since 2011, having taken over from Claudia Winkleman.

This exciting news comes in the same day that Harry Redknapp is rumoured to be joining the line-up later in the year. Last year, Harry turned down the show in favour of I'm a Celebrity, however the King of the Jungle told the Mail Online, “I told Jamie Redknapp I was thinking of doing Strictly and I don't think he was pleased about it. And so I was offered the jungle at the same time and chose to do that.”

Although we won't find out the contestants until nearer the time, the professional dancers have been confirmed.
