Rita Ora sends apologetic text to Olly Murs after X Factor snub
Rita grovels to Olly after apparently offending the presenter at the X Factor final.
As a nation we cringed when poor Olly Murs suffered an unfortunate 'diss' live on TV from X Factor judge and signer Rita Ora.
Whilst speaking about her winning act, Louisa Johnson, Rita revealed her feelings about former contestants stating, “there are only two people in my opinion who have made this impression, and that’s Leona and Louisa.
Presenter Olly was then clearly embarrassed that his own stint on the X Factor in 2009, in which he came second, had been overlooked. The public rallied round Olly, pointing out that he had actually had one of the more successful careers since the show that has seen him have numerous top 10 hits and 3 No.1 albums.
However it has since emerged that Rita has apologised for her gaff. Speaking for the first time since the 'incident', Olly said; “Bless Rita, she text me saying: ‘I’m really sorry if I’ve offended you.’ I knew nothing about it. I was like: ‘What? What are you talking about?’”
We're glad to know there's going to be no further feuds between these two and that all is good between the two pop artists.
