One Direction to head their separate ways?
The now four-piece boyband are reportedly going on a hiatus next year causing fans to go into meltdown...
According to reports, 'One Direction' are planning on heading their separate ways in March next year in order to pursue solo projects.
Having already proven they don't need Zayn by landing an instant number one with 'Drag me down', the teen idol sensations, Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson may be looking to venture out to explore the music, acting and in general showbiz world, before reuniting at some point in the future. Although there's been no official statement, Directioners (the name for the band's fanbase) are struggling to handle the rumours. They've had a tough year.
First, denial:
There was the heartbreak:
(OK maybe that last one is a bit of a joke)
Anger:
And finally acceptance:
Of course it wouldn't be Twitter without the humour
Over the years bands have gone on hiatus whilst normally a couple of the lead singers release solo material, and as we've seen in recent years, it makes for a great comeback story.
Reportedly the band won't be touring for their fifth album, making their last live concert (at least for a while) on October 31st at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield.
