Bake Off fans shocked to learn Noel Fielding's age 😲

The Great British Bake Off has been a saving grace to many fans across the UK over the last few weeks, with Paul Hollywood, Prue Leith and hosts Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding bringing normality to our lives.
As the aspiring bakers took on 80s week on Tuesday (3rd November), it wasn't Lottie's shock exit or Hermine's Star Baker win that got viewers talking, it was in fact a joke by hosts Matt and Noel.
When the pair made a joke about Emu's All Live Pink Windmill to the remaining bakers, Matt added, "That joke only works if you're over 45."
Upon hearing the comment, Bake Off fans were quick to research both Matt and Noel's ages, discovering that Matt is 46-years-old, and Noel is 47-years-old.
It turns out viewers were left shocked to learn Noel's age, with many Bake Off fans thinking the comedian was in fact in his late 20s or early 30s.
One fan wrote on Twitter, 'I never knew Noel Fielding was 47. I always assumed mid 30s', with another writing, 'just found out noel fielding is 47 and i am truly shook'. (sic)
Another then wrote, 'I’m sorry. Noel Fielding is 47?! What is this sorcery. He’s a vampire...surely. #GBBO', with a fourth commenting, 'Catching up with Bake Off from last night and the biggest surprise so far is that Noel Fielding is 47 years of age. I thought he was perpetually 30'. (sic)
Another shocked viewer added, 'Finding out Noel Fielding is 47 had shaken me to the core. I though he was late 20s or early 30s this feels wrong'. (sic)

Meanwhile, Noel's long-term partner Lliana Bird confirmed the birth of the couple's second child last week, revealing she's given birth to a baby girl.
Lliana shared a cryptic post to her Instagram page, made up of four homemade Halloween decorations as she told fans, 'The Bird Fielding family of 🕷 x x (finally figured out what to do with all my old mic covers!) #halloweencrafts'. (sic)
After a number of confused fans commented on her homemade spiders, Lliana confirmed she's welcomed another baby girl, writing, 'Noel is pink, dali is orange, i'm grey and iggy is red.' (sic)
