Love Island's Olivia Attwood responds to rumours she's split with Chris Hughes
Olivia has spoken!
Last updated 7th Aug 2017
It seems the drama between Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood that had viewers hooked in the Love Island villa is continuing in the real world as today it was rumoured Chris had dumped Olivia after she was spotted getting close to another man.
Despite being photographed seemingly kissing Blackburn Rovers footballer Bradley Deck on the neck during a night out on Sunday, Olivia has now responded to the rumours by telling her Twitter followers that she was with Chris on Saturday night.
She wrote, 'Just for the record. Chris and I were together Saturday night. So everyone can just relax.'
Whilst some fans were quick to support Olivia, others seemed to slam her behaviour, with one follower posting the photo causing all of the drama...
Olivia's response comes just hours after it was reported Chris had dumped his girlfriend after her behaviour outside of the nightclub over the weekend.
A source close to Chris reportedly told a national newspaper, "Chris has told his close friends it’s all over. He’s furious and heartbroken to see her all over someone else."
Fans were then left convinced the couple had split when Chris uploaded a cryptic snap to his Instagram page earlier today.
Sharing a photo of himself with his cheeky smile, Chris wrote, 'Whatever make you feel bad, leave it. Whatever makes you smile, keep it.'
However, not long after Chris changed the caption to read, 'Whatever makes you smile, keep it', leaving fans wondering what was going on.
Chris has now cleared things up even further by posting a snap of himself and Olivia to his Instagram page from today.
Alongside the photo Chris wrote, 'Come to support my girl on her new project, exciting opportunity for her! Proud of how far she's come in this short space of time, deserves every opportunity that comes her way. Regarding other aspect of today, manipulation is powerful in the public eye. She's been a princess to me ever since we landed back in the UK, and I don't blame people for judging as it's the world we live in, but understand I'm not naive to this situation. Unfortunately Olivia put herself in this position unintentionally, nobody understands the situation like ourselves,' sic
Despite having a turbulent time during their time in the villa, everything seemed to be going well for the couple until today.
They attended numerous events together and haven't been shy in uploading loved up snaps to their Instagram pages.
Chris and Olivia aren't the only couple to have drama since the 2017 series of Love Island ended. Check out the gallery below to see what the other couples from this year's show have been up to in the last two weeks.
Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies

Attending a number of appearances together, including a pool party in Mallorca last weekend, Kem and Amber often share snaps of each other to their Instagram pages.
The pair wasted no time in meeting each other's family and friends when they left the villa, Kem shared a cute snap of Amber and his mum with the caption, 'The two most important women in my life'.

Despite the 2017 winners looking loved up, Kem was forced to defend his romance last weekend when his 'friends' said he would break Amber's heart.

Alex Beattie and Montana Brown
From the moment they left the villa, Alex and Montana were faced with numerous rumours that they'd not continued their romance outside of the show.
Unlike the other couples, the pair haven't been spotted attending events together and have kept loved up snaps of each other to a complete minimum in the last week.

And as Montana prepares to become clothing brand Pretty Little Things' brand new ambassador, Alex has signed a modelling deal with Boohoo Men, leaving the pair with very little time on their hands for a romance.
Montana has now confirmed her split with Alex after admitting it has been 'hard' on the outside world. Despite the split, the pair have remained friends.
