Nicki Minaj and Cardi B's feud has fuelled headlines ever since it was first rumoured back in October 2017. Although both parties initially denied it - with Nicki even sending Cardi a baby gift basket after she gave birth to Kulture in July 2018 - things have escalated in the past few months.

The pair were filmed scrapping at a New York Fashion Week after party in September, with Cardi B leaving the event without her shoes and sporting a HUGE bump to the head.

But they've taken things one step further now, directly attacking each on social media with videos and posts.

But after Cardi revealed that she had been the first choice for Little Mix's new single 'Woman Like Me' which features Nicki, Little Mix felt compelled to get involved.

In a video, Cardi said, "That 'Woman Like Me' record... Yeah I had to decline it because I’m doing a lot of pop records so I can’t over exaggerate myself but that came to me first - and then they gave it to you."

Little Mix then took to Instagram to reveal that this had never been the case, writing, 'Sorry Cardi hun but this is the tea. We've always wanted the queen (no shade).'

They also posted screenshots of messages to prove that they'd wanted Nicki first, writing, 'We just want to clarify...Nicki was approached first (swipe for date) 👑 #WomanLikeMe @nickiminaj @iamcardib. The girls x' sic

They also posted a collage video of the various times they've spoken about their desire to work with Nicki. Many fans commented on the post, with one writing, 'Nicki probably didn't realise she gained four new allies with woman like me for this rap war,' and another added, 'The ladies have EVERY right to defend themselves whether you agree or not.'

After a full day of relentless feuding, Nicki put a stop to it - taking to Twitter to write, 'Ok you guys, let’s focus on positive things only from here on out. We’re all so blessed. I know this stuff is entertaining & funny to a lot of people but I won’t be discussing this nonsense anymore. Thank you for the support & encouragement year after year. Love you. ♥️' sic

Cardi couldn't let Nicki have the last word, and screenshotted the tweet, posted it to her Instagram account and wrote, 'Alright then! Let’s keep it positive and keep it pushing!' sic, tagging Nicki as she did so.

Little Mix also retweeted Nicki's original tweet, sharing a simple love heart alongside the message.
