Despite fans being convinced the pair had split back in January, former Love Island star Laura Anderson and Hollyoaks actor Gary Lucy have shocked their fans by announcing they are expecting their first baby together.
The pair, who started dating when they both appeared on E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating in 2022, announced their special news in an Instagram Reel, with Laura writing: 'Our hearts are full 🫶🏼 Baby Lucy due Summer ‘23 🤰🏼'. (sic)
The cute Reel featured footage of Laura showing off her tiny bump, attending scans, showing her dog her baby scans, and Gary holding up a baby grow with the words 'The one where we become parents. Baby Lucy. Due August 2023'.
Laura's friends and fans were quick to comment on her post. Maura Higgins wrote: 'Congratulations 😍😍❤️❤️❤️', with Tasha Ghouri adding: 'AHHH!!! Congratulations angel 😍❤️'. (sic)
Paige Thorne then wrote: 'Congratulations!!🥰🥰🥰🥰', with Celebs Go Dating star Anna Williamson adding: '@lauraanderson1x @gary.lucy you know how much love I have for you and this little baby bear ❤️😍'. (sic)
Nicola McLean also commented: 'Oh this is beautiful ❤️ congratulations both of you @gary.lucy', with MAFS UK star Amy Christopher writing: 'Omgggggg congratulations my loves ❤️'. (sic)
Are Laura and Gary still together?
Despite the cute baby news, Gary has now confirmed he has actually split from Laura, with the actor admitting they plan to work together to co-parent their baby.

After appearing on the 2022 series of Celebs Go Dating alongside the likes of Sinitta, Liam Reardon and Pete Wicks, Laura and Gary confirmed they were dating after admitting their romance started out as a friendship.
However, despite spending Christmas together and Laura caring for Gary following his car accident in December, it looked like the pair had called quits on their romance, after Laura deleted all trace of the former Footballers' Wives actor from social media.
Sharing a cryptic post alongside her dog at the time, Laura told fans: 'I know I've been quiet on here and not myself this week or so.
'I'm going through a very difficult time, I actually don't think I've ever felt so stressed in my life.
'As we know Instagram isn't real life but over sharing negativity has never been something I like doing. Anyway my thought of the day for us all is - Never lose yourself or your voice.' (sic)
Although the new arrival will be Laura's first child, Gary is already a proud dad to his four children, India, Elvis, Sadie and Theodore.
