Her twin sister revealed she's lucky to be alive

Skin's actress Kathryn Prescott has been hospitalised with life-altering injuries, following a serious accident in New York. Kathryn's twin sister, Megan, revealed the news on Instagram, claiming: 'She is incredibly lucky to be alive.'
Megan revealed that Kathryn was hit by a cement truck in New York, on 7th September. In a plea to help her get to her sister, 30-year-old wrote: 'I received the most terrifying phone call I’ve ever received in my life on Tuesday evening. My twin sister Kathryn was hit by a cement truck while crossing a road in New York on the 7th September.'
Within the post. Megan revealed that her sister's injuries include: 'broken pelvis in two places, both of her legs, her foot and her left hand. She is incredibly lucky to be alive. She narrowly avoided paralysis.'
She also stated: 'The doctors are hopeful that she will make a full recovery but this will only be possible with the correct care right now.'
Both Kathryn and Megan Prescott rose to fame back in 2009 when they starred in E4's BAFTA-winning teen drama Skins. Kathryn played Emily Fitch, with Megan starring alongside her as twin sister Katie Fitch.
Kathryn has since gone on to star in various films and TV shows, including playing Carter Stevens in Finding Carter. Megan is now a bodybuilder.
