Joe Sugg mocks himself as he FAINTS on The Great Celebrity Bake Off

He cut his finger with a peeler!

Since the beginning of the month, fans of The Great British Bake Off have been treat to weekly episodes of the celebrity edition of the show, all in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.

Last night's (Tuesday 31st March) episode, which aired on Channel 4, featured YouTuber Joe Sugg, TV personality Allison Hammond, singer James Blunt and TV presenter Alex Jones, all showing off their baking skills (or in most cases, lack of baking skills. 🙈)

But perhaps the most shocking part of the show was when former Strictly contestant Joe Sugg cut his finger with a vegetable peeler, causing him to faint in the Bake Off tent.

After paramedics attended the scene to patch up Joe's small cut, it seems the blood got too much for the 28-year-old, who collapsed onto the floor, with James Blunt calmly saying, "Oh dear."

But despite the dramatic moment, it seems Joe and his girlfriend Dianne Buswell could see the funny side of his collapse, with the loved-up couple both taking to social media to laugh during the show.

Posting on his Instagram Story, Joe filmed the moment from his TV, whilst both himself and Dianne were left in fits of laughter.

🤣🤣🤣

Meanwhile, despite the slight mishap, Joe was well enough to recover and went on to impress judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith to become this week's Star Baker!

Taking to Instagram after the episode, Joe wrote, 'I’ve finally got a W! STAR BAKER! Really hope you all enjoyed the episode. It was such a pleasure to be a part of it and hopefully it will help raise awareness and some money for a great cause @su2cuk. Thanks so much @britishbakeoff for getting me involved 🙌🏼❤️'. (sic)
