Jessie J shows off new look after cutting her own hair in lockdown
She's now rocking a short bob, cut by herself!
With various different lockdowns in place across the whole of the UK right now, in an attempt to protect the NHS and prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, non-essential shops are closed, including hairdressers and beauty salons.
And by the looks of it, singer Jessie J just couldn't wait any longer for a haircut, taking to Instagram to reveal she's chopped her long locks off HERSELF!
Uploading a video of herself holding her hair in her hands, the 'Domino' singer can be heard in fits of nervous laughter, before telling her followers, 'I’m never going to change. 💇🏻♀️ It looks like life right now... Uneven. 😂🤣 But man do I feel lighter. NEEDED TO SHAKE MYSELF UP TODAY AND THIS WAS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!! Sometimes you just gotta do it! “The short bob is back baby yeah” 🙋🏻♀️ Yes I did it myself' (sic)
After receiving hundreds of comments asking her to show her new cut off, 32-year-old Jessie uploaded a number of stunning snaps of herself later in the evening, and by the looks of it, she definitely has hairdressing to fall back on if her music career flops.
Showing off her neat new bob, Jessie joked with fans in the caption, writing, 'Home hair cut by me. Appointments for haircuts by me now available on zoom... 👀 Monday - Friday. DM me for details. (sic)
Fans were quick to comment expressing their love for Jessie's new hair. One wrote, '😍 Book me in for a cut and blow. I’m thinking bangs?', with another writing, 'GOOD JOB!', A third then added, i would give anything to see how it looked before this😂 i loooooveeeee it! u look amazing jess'. (sic)
The singer, who dated Hollywood actor Channing Tatum before their split in 2020, later uploaded a video of herself having an outdoor photoshoot with her 'quarantine wife'.
She wrote, 'Time to go on more adventures with my quarantine wife @laurenwillson 😈'.
She looks amazing! ❤️
