Former Celebrity Big Brother star Jessica Cunningham has announced the birth of her baby! The mum-of-four, who rose to fame after appearing on The Apprentice in 2016, revealed on her Instagram profile that she'd given birth to her baby after suffering a devastating miscarriage last year.
Jessica, who is already mum to three little girls whose names she has never revealed with her former partner Alistair Eccles, did not confirm the sex of her baby with boyfriend Alex Dow, nor what they had decided to name the tot, but did open up about her "rainbow baby."
These celebrities are also expecting babies...
Posting a beautiful photo of her newborn baby's hand alongside hers as she wore a rainbow ring, Jessica emotionally wrote, 'We have in fact welcomed our beautiful little rainbow baby into the world and it’s as if they were always meant to be here.
'Before every rainbow there is always a storm and our storm over the past year has left us with THE most beautiful little view.
'We are all doing well, but for now, I probably won’t be on here for a few days as I am going to take a little bit of time to just enjoy my wonderful little family. Wish me luck on being a mama of 4.'
Fans flocked to comment on the adorable photo, offering their congratulations with many adding that Jessica was an 'inspiration.'
According to charity Kicks Count, a rainbow baby is "a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss."
Jessica revealed on her blog, MotherOfManiacs.co.uk, in December that suffered a miscarriage in November - three months after learning of the death of her ex-partner and father of her three elder children, Alistair Eccles, who died by suicide in August 2017.
In a post entitled And Then There Was Nothing, Jessica revealed that she and Alex had only found out they were expecting a few weeks before the devastating miscarriage happened.
She wrote, 'In the middle of all the sadness, we had been feeling as a family for the past couple of months, the universe (so I believed) had sent us the most precious gift. A baby.'
Jessica then revealed that she'd suffered pain and blood spotting, adding that she instantly panicked 'knowing that if this was miscarriage then there is nothing that could be done, except let nature take its course and that there would be no baby.'
Jessica announced the happy news on New Year's Day that she had fallen pregnant again on Instagram.
Congratulations to the family.
