The trailer has been released ahead of a special extended episode which will wrap up series 22 and features previously unseen footage. .
The BBC cancelled Clarkson's contract in March after it emerged he attacked a producer and many fans thought they would never see Clarkson in the show again. Hammond and May finished the last series without their former co-presenter and the final episodes will air in the next few weeks.
There have been reports Hammond and May have turned down a £5million contract in favour of reuniting with Clarkson for a Netflix series.
