Much like her band-mate Rosé, Jennie spent her childhood in New Zealand. Jennie was born in South Korea and moved back there in 2010 at the age of 14.

Jennie's full name is Jennie Kim, but she often goes by the name Jennie Ruby Jane, which she says she chose for herself.

Jennie released a collab with Dua Lipa called 'Handlebars' in March 2025. The song marked the second time the pair have worked together after Dua worked with Blackpink on their 2018 song 'Kiss and Make Up'.
When was Jennie's debut album released?
'Ruby' dropped on 7th March 2025. It's the singer's first solo album, and follows announcements from Blackpink bandmates Rosé, Lisa and Jisoo about their solo albums. Rosé dropped 'Rosie' in December 2024, while Jisoo and Lisa's albums were released in February 2025.

Is Jennie going on tour?
She went on her 'The Ruby Experience' tour in support of her new album back in the spring of 2025, visiting stadiums in the US. She also performed with Blackpink here in the UK on 15th August 2025 and is currently continuing on a world tour with the group.

Release date: 20th February
Leigh-Anne announced in October 2025 that she would be releasing her album in 2026. The album called 'My Ego Told Me To' will be supported by a tour of the same name.
Bruno Mars - 'The Romantic'
Release date: 27th February
Bruno Mars has confirmed his next album 'The Romantic' will be released on 27th February, and preceded by a new single, due for release on 9th January. This is the singer's first solo album since '24K Magic' in 2016.
Melanie C - 'Sweat'
Release date: 1st May
In October 2025, Melanie C has announced she will be releasing a new album called 'Sweat' in 2026, and it will feature her current single, which is the title track. The album will include 13 songs including the lead single and is the singer's 'most euphoric record to date'.
RAYE
Release date: 2026 - exact date unknown
Despite confirming it will be released in 2026, RAYE admitted in September 2025 that her second album has not been finished! On The Graham Norton Show she told the host: "I've kind of given myself a rough deadline, I would like to say the first third of next year, definitely the first half of next year."
