We've got another jam-packed weekend on Boogie and Arlene's Saturday morning show on MFR. Not only do we have McFly, who have just released their comeback single, we are also joined by Jason Derulo.
You can hear the full interview with Jason Derulo from 9am on Saturday 8th August on MFR
As well as being a very talented pop star, with hits like, 'Wiggle', 'Talk Dirty', and 'Whatcha Say', he's also made a name for himself on TikTok with his fun videos, often starring his girlfriend, or niece Skylar.
Earlier this year, Jason's song 'Get Ugly' became the the subject of a TikTok challenge where LGBTQ people came out to their family, using the song.
Speaking about the use of his 2015 hit for the TikTik challenge, Jason said he is, "Always honoured to be part of someone's special moment, as I can imagine how tough of a moment that is, so if one of my songs can allow that experience, or that coming out to be a little easier, I think that's incredible."
The singer also revealed the secrets behind the TikTok video which sees his girlfriend standing on his back as he lies down, before gradually coming to a standing position.
When Arlene asked how long it took to do, Jason admitted, "Surprisingly not that long, I think in quarantine, you kind of become fearless when you have so much time on your hands."
Jason went on to reveal that it actually only took around 30 minutes, but they've only done it once, even though they have tried to recreate it, it didn't happen again!
When questioned about THAT sweetcorn/power drill TikTok video, where Jason ends up with smashed up teeth, his answer was, "The world may never know..."
Don't try this at home!
