Jake Wood responds to Love Island 'twin' in the BEST way 🤣

When the 2020 Love Island cast was unveiled by ITV earlier this week, fans of popular soap EastEnders couldn't help but compare actor Jake Wood (Max Branning) to new Islander, heir to the Lanhydrock Estate, Ollie Williams.

In true 2020 fashion, a hilarious meme with a side-by-side photo of Jake and Ollie started circulating the Internet, with the caption, 'Good to see Max from EastEnders going into the villa'. sic

Now, with just days to go until Love Island kicks off, Jake has responded to the comparison, mocking his 'twin' in the process. Posting the meme to his Instagram page, Jake wrote, 'FYI I’m the one on the right who doesn’t own a beach in Cornwall 🤣🤣'. sic

Friend and fans of Jake were quick to comment on his post, one user wrote, 'Even I thought that was you when you were younger! 😂😂', with another adding, 'Twins🤣🤣'.

Another wrote, '😂I thought it was you as I scrolled !!!', with a user called sabrina.mitchell.79 writing, '😂 that's some transformation'. sic

Whilst Jake has absolutely no relation at all to new Islander Ollie, he might want to make friends with the millionaire...

Speaking ahead of the launch show, Ollie said, "My father is Lord of the Manor of Lanhydrock. The family title is Viscount Clifden. When my father passes away or abdicates, as the eldest child, I will take on the titles and the estate. I’m the heir of Lanhydrock."
